Honoring the Prisoners of War and the Missing in Action

 

Laying the wreath . . .

Posting the Colors . . .

The remembrance ceremony consisted of the posting of the colors, the singing of the National Anthem, a POW/MIA Proclamation, a 21-gun salute, a Missing Man Formation flyover, and placement of the Remembrance Wreath.

 

A 21-gun salute . . .

On the third Friday of September each year, Nellis AFB takes time to remember those who are missing in action, as well as their families, by holding the remembrance ceremony.


Missing Man Formation . . .
