Deployed Spouses supporting Deployed Spouses: Stay strong during deployments and meet with other deployed spouses. Share ideas, learn coping skills, socialize and more. Champagne Sunday Brunch: The Club now has a Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Children under eight years of age eat free.

Flu Vaccinations: The 99th Medical Operations Squadron Immunization Clinic has the flu vaccine. For more information, call the immunization clinic at (702) 653-2410.

Gate Changes: Starting Oct. 1, the Range Road gate will no longer conduct commercial vehicle searches or issue base passes. All commercial traffic will be rerouted to the Area II commercial gate for inspection and all visitors will be processed at the Main Gate Visitor Center 24/7. In addition, on Oct. 6 the Hollywood and VA gates will close until further notice. Traffic that would normally use the Hollywood gate can use the Tyndall, Main, or Area II gates, while traffic for the Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center should use the Range Road gate. Any questions can be addressed to the 99th Security Forces Squadron Base Defense Operations Center at (702) 652-2311.

CivilianJobs.Com is hosting a Career Expo: Transitioning military, retirees, veterans and family members come out to The Club on Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The expo offers employers a way to meet motivated and proven transitioning service members as they begin their career search following their military service. Candidates who attend are encouraged to pre-register on the CivilianJobs.com website and upload their resume no later than one week prior to the event so they can participate in the matching process. Halloween Pumpkin Patrol: The 99th Security Forces Squadron is seeking volunteers for the 2012 Halloween Pumpkin Patrol. Those willing to participate must wear the Airman Battle Uniform with an operational flashlight. Those interested in volunteering or for more information about the Pumpkin Patrol contact Tech. Sgt. Jared Johnson or Staff Sgt. Brant Stoke. The deadline for volunteers is close of business today.

National Disability Employment Awareness Lunch: A luch will be held for National Disability Employment Awareness Month 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 29 at Freedom Park on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. in celebration of the many contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. Vehicle Maintenance Class: A vehicle maintenance class will be held Oct. 30 at 4:30 p.m. at the Airmen and Family Readiness Center for those wishing to learn how to change oil and other common engine problems. For more information contact Airman 1st Class Carla Johnson at 653-3880.
