Beginning surgical procedures . . .

Airmen and Veterans Affairs perioperative nurses and surgical technologists, 99th Surgical Operations Squadron, begin a surgical procedure at the Mike O’ Callaghan Federal Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The OR consists of seven surgical suites with specialties ranging from vascular, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, urology, and ophthalmology.

Airman 1st Class Nam Kim, 99th Surgical Operations Squadron surgical technician, wraps a surgical set of instruments to be processed and sterilized at the Mike O’ Callaghan Federal Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
