Beginning surgical procedures . . .

Airmen and Veterans Affairs perioperative nurses and surgical technologists, 99th Surgical Operations Squadron, begin a surgical procedure at the Mike O’ Callaghan Federal Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The OR consists of seven surgical suites with specialties ranging from vascular, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, urology, and ophthalmology.

 
Wrapping surgical instruments . . .
Airman 1st Class Nam Kim, 99th Surgical Operations Squadron surgical technician, wraps a surgical set of instruments to be processed and sterilized at the Mike O’ Callaghan Federal Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The 99th MSGS has acquired a new colorectal surgery specialist and is expanding its services in the general,orthopedic, and plastic surgery departments.
