David Walker, Secretary of the Air Force Acquisitions deputy, and Mark Maybury, Science, Technology, and Engineering USAF chief scientist, present Lt. Col. Randy King, Nevada Test and Training Range support deputy director, the Air Force Science and Engineering Award Aug. 23, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. King received the award for his efforts involving the Live-Virtual-Constructive Pilot Program, the first program to integrate constructive, or fully computer generated, air and ground virtual threats into a live dynamic air combat training environment.
