NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — Seaman Trevor Stratton, Electronic Attack Squadron 138 plane captain, performs pre-flight checks on an EA-18G Growler during the U.S. Air Force Weapons School Mission Employment Phase Dec. 11,, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The EA-18G Growler is an airborne electronic attack aircraft which operates from aircraft carriers or from land-bases.

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — Lt. Cmdr. Travis Inouye and Lt. Cmdr. Brian Johnson, Electronic Attack Squadron 138 pilots, prepare to take off during the U.S. Air Force Weapons School Mission Employment Phase Dec. 11, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. VAQ 138 is an expeditionary EA-18G Growler squadron assigned to U.S. Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington. Their mission is to project Electronic Attack dominance anywhere in the world at any time by providing fully combat ready aircraft and personnel.
