There is a critical need for blood donations . . .
Airmen stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., take part in the 57th Wing-sponsored blood drive at Outdoor Recreation Center Jan. 18, 2013. There is a critical need for blood donations in the Las Vegas community; anyone who is able to donate is encouraged to do so.

Donated blood provides products to help veterans, active duty personnel and family members . . .
Collected blood waits to be registered and put in proper storage after being withdrawn from an Airman at Outdoor Recreation Center during the 57th Wing Blood Drive Jan. 18, 2013, Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The blood donated provides blood and blood products to the Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center helping veterans, active-duty service members, and their families during medical procedures and emergencies.
