Q. I heard that my TRICARE benefits will no longer be available when the TriWest contract ends in April 2013! How can this be?

A. I’m afraid you were misinformed. Your TRICARE benefits don’t end when health care delivery changes from TriWest to UnitedHealthcare Military& Veterans around April 1, 2012. Though there may be changes (for example: phone numbers, mailing addresses, network providers, systems), your basic TRICARE benefits remain the same.
