57th MXS AMMO Airmen build bombs, missiles

Off-loading bombs

Airman 1st Class Justin Steele, 57th Maintenance squadron munitions systems journeyman, and Staff Sgt. Thomas Pesek, 57th Maintenance Squadron munitions systems craftsman, off load Mk-82 bombs from a trailer onto a munitions assembly conveyor Feb. 11 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The bombs will be used for training to give pilots a real world feel for how to deploy the weapon, and the effects on the aircraft after the launch.

Post load inspection
