Ask the Doc

Q. I saw my primary care provider three weeks ago and have not heard anything about my authorization for a dermatologist referal.

A. We are having a few systems issues during the transition to United Healthcare. Please contact the Referral Management Center at (702) 653-2273 option #2. Our staff will assist you in getting your authorization. Please be patient during this transition, we are working hard to speed up the process.

NOTE: The pediatric clinic is moving. Beginning May 6, the pediatric clinic will be relocated to a temporary facility located on the east side of the hospital, nearest to the family health and orthopedic clinics. In preparation for this move, the clinic will be closed May 3 and possibly part of the day on May 6. In addition to the clinic closure, all phone lines for the pediatric clinic will be down temporarily. Please call (702) 653-2273 to book all appointments and/or to leave telephone consultations. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this medical center transition.
