EFMP Parent Support Group: Share common experiences unique to special needs families and learn about new information and resources. We meet the third Wednesday of every month at the Airman and Family Readiness Center.

Aug. 23: End of Summer Bash: Come out to wrap up the week before the kids return to school and enjoy some free food and live entertainment at the End of Summer Bash 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 23 at the Warrior Fitness Center. Free burgers, dogs and drinks will be provided along with live entertainment by the Black Eyed Tease and Purple Reign. Kids games and face painting will be provided along with free open rec swim at the indoor pool. Attendees will also be able to enter drawings for some awesome prizes. Sept. 2-8: The 57th Maintenance Squadron munitions storage area will be closed for a wall-to-wall inventory: All issue requests must be submitted no later than Aug. 26, and emergency issue requests must be approved in writing by the group commander or equivalent. Scheduling errors that that result in issue requests for daily use and training munitions are not considered emergencies. For more information, contact Master Sgt. Erik Ryland, Master Sgt. Sept. 6: 4th annual Enlisted Combat Dining-in: The 4th annual Enlisted Combat Dining-In will is Sept. 6 at Freedom Park. Come take part in the festivities, tickets will be available for pre-sale mid-July through September. E1-E4 – $5; E5-E6 – $10; E7-E9 – $15.

Sept. 21: 2013 Air Force Ball: Is scheuled to begin at 6 p.m. at the South Point Hotel and Casino. Live music and dancing, buffet-syle dinners and desserts, carving stations, discounted hotel rooms, and more to celebrate 66 years of Air Force heritage. Sept. 27: Rhino Booster Club 5th Annual Golf Tournament: Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Sunrise Vista Golf Course with the tournament starting at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $60 and only $50 for enlisted. Family and friends are invited to join.
