Government shut-down affects ID card, DEERS office

Tech. Sgt. Julie Duke, 799th Air Base Squadron customer service section chief, assist customers at the identification card and Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting system office at the military personnel flight Oct. 4 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Due to the government shutdown, the contractors who work in the ID card and DEERS office were furloughed. ID cards and DEERS enrollment will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. One window will be open so customers can expect delays.
