Government shutdown impacts FSS services

Even though the 99th FSS is processing official passports, the Department of State has suspended the final processing of the applications due to the government shutdown.

The 99th Force Support Squadron will continue to conduct Weighted Airman Promotion System testing for Airmen recently returned from deployment who missed their regular cycle. However, The Air Force Personnel Center warns Airmen to expect possible delays in the processing and scoring of these tests with the government is still shut down.

Due to the government shutdown, the 99th FSS Education Center has suspended free College Level Examination Program and Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Services testing until further notice. Air Force officials also announced the suspension of Tuition Assistance until a budget funding the program is passed by Congress.
