The legal office expands appointment availability: The legal office has expanded its appointment availability to better serve you.  Appointments are now available 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9-11 a.m. Friday. Due to the expanded appointment availability, walk-in hours are no longer available. To book an appointment, call the legal assistance phone line at (702) 652-7531.

Air University temporarily suspended: The Air University has temporarily suspended all active-duty enrollment in the NCO Academy Distance Learning Academy Distance Learning Course. Active-duty students who were enrolled in the course have been disenrolled.  The course is open only to reserve and guard members at this time.

Your total well being: This comprehensive service will map your journey down the road toward wellness and achieving a healthy lifestyle. Your journey includes blood pressure screening, health risk appraisal, fitness assessment/exercise prescription, body fat analysis and nutritional guidance. Participants will receive an exercise prescription based on your fitness level and goals. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday at the HAWC, and appointments can be made by calling (702) 652-3375.

Amazing abs: Monday and Wednesday in the Warrior Fitness Center group exercise room from 3:30 to 3:50 p.m. Learn new exercises that work on the core and strengthening and firming the torso. This class is for all fitness levels.

Bod pod body fat assessment: This equipment is designed to assess body fat through air displacement. It’s similar to underwater weighing but uses air to determine an individual’s body fat. Schedule your appointment today by calling (702) 653-3375.

Dec. 14: Ham Shoot: Sunrise Vista Golf Course will host a Ham Shoot stating at 8:30 a.m. Entry fee includes green fee, carts, range, lunch, prizes and a ham. For more information, call (702) 652-4497.

Dec. 18: Warrior Trained Fitness: There will be two Warrior Trained Fitness events Dec. 18 starting at 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the basketball courts located in the Warrior Fitness Center. For more information, contact the Warrior Fitness Center at (702) 682-4712.

Dec. 20: Jingle Bell Run: The Warrior Fitness Center will be hosting a Jingle Bell Run 7 a.m.  Prizes, t-shirts and refreshments will be available.  For more information, call (702) 652-4497.

Dec. 25: Holiday Meal: Crosswinds Dining Facility will host a Holiday Meal breakfast from 6 to 8 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. The menu includes baked ham, roast turkey, roast rib of beef, mashed potatoes and a variety of desserts.
