Q.“My provider’s billing office asked if they should use my Department of Defense Benefits Number, or my sponsor’s Social Security number to file a claim. What do I tell them?”

A. You may let them know that either number will work. If they need additional assistance regarding filing claims, they should contact your regional contractor.
