Q.“Is Walgreens a TRICARE network pharmacy?”

A.No, although Express Scripts and Walgreens signed a network agreement in 2012, Walgreens is still a non-network pharmacy for TRICARE beneficiaries.
You may get your prescription filled at Walgreens but you’ll pay more. You’ll need to pay the full prescription cost upfront and file a claim for partial reimbursement after you meet your deductible. Visit the costs page for details.
As a TRICARE beneficiary you have access to more than 57,000 network pharmacies; there’s usually another network pharmacy within one-half mile of a Walgreens.  To find the nearest TRICARE retail network pharmacy in the United States and its territories (including Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands):
• Visit the Find a Pharmacy page; www.express-scripts.com/TRICARE/pharmacy
• Use the Express Rx mobile app available for free from the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace; or .Call 1-877-363-1303.

Note: Due to a mandatory base-wide exercise on March 25, 2014, the Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center will be closed for normal operations with the exception of the Emergency Room and inpatient services. All outpatient clinics, including the main pharmacy, satellite pharmacy, laboratory and radiology will be closed for normal operation in support of the exercise.
