Q.“How do I enroll in the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program? “

A.You may enroll:
• By using the https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/appj/bwe/indexAction.do
• By downloading, printing and mailing the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program http://www.trdp.org/downloads/enrollment-application.pdf to Delta Dental.

Only the sponsor or surviving spouse may enroll dependents.
You must pay two months of your premium payment upfront and you must stay enrolled for 12 months in a row. Your coverage begins on the first day of the month after Delta Dental processes your enrollment. You’ll receive your dental benefits Welcome Packet with your TRICARE Retiree Dental Program identification card and benefits booklet. After the 12-month period, you are eligible for added benefits and will continue your enrollment on a month-to-month basis.
Note: Retirees who enroll within four months after their retirement from active duty or transfer to Retired Reserve status may be able to skip the 12-month waiting period for added coverage.

Note: Due to a Medical Group training and an official function May 9, the Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center will be closed for normal operations with the exception of the emergency room and inpatient services. All outpatient clinics, including the main pharmacy, satellite pharmacy, laboratory and radiology will be closed for normal operation in support of the exercise. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
