Airmen ‘hoop it up’ at Warrior Fitness Center

Nellis community members play basketball at the Warrior Fitness Center on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Oct. 7. The WFC provides three indoor basketball courts for Airmen and their families to use. Other areas available for use include an indoor swimming pool, racquetball courts, free weight areas, cardio machines, and indoor/outdoor running tracks.

Disbelief was the first emotion that overtook a radio frequency transmission systems Airman as he fell from a mobile antenna and instinctively shot out his arms to brace his 15-foot fall. The impact from the fall dislocated both wrists and pushed the small bones of his hands into his forearms.
