Plane Crazy on Armed Forces Day May 19

Plane Crazy Saturday, scheduled for May 19 at the Mojave Air and Space Port, will salute both active duty and veterans of the U.S. armed forces.

World War II aircraft have been invited, and there will also be other military displays.

Featured speaker will be Maj. David Marten, who was a B-1B pilot in 2000 with the 13th Bomber Squadron in Korea. He also will discus the squadron’s history.

The every-third Saturday event is free and is sponsored by the Mojave Transportation Museum. The event runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
