CWO 4 Walter Jones, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, was reunited with his battle buddy after over 40 years apart, Spec 4 Robert “Pinky” Pilkinton. Pilkinton, a crewmember aboard another helicopter at the time, got out of the Army and Vietnam a little while after this photo was taken. By writing a Letter to the Editor Pinky was able to reunite with Jones.
