Marines and sailors from the 1st and 3rd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Companies conducted a live jupm with members of the 148th British army commandoes at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., June 15. The jump was part of Exercise Burmese Chase and afforded Marines and their British counterparts the opportunity to train alongside each other for three weeks. The static-lien jump enabled the commandos to familiarize themselves with Marine operations and the assets used in coalition efforts in Afghanistan.
