The first all-new airliner of the 21st century, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, landed at Philadelphia International Airport for its first visit to the city June 26. On June 27, local officials, suppliers, media and Boeing employees will tour the aircraft to experience the airplane’s many passenger-friendly features.
Made from composite materials, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is the first midsize airplane capable of flying long range and will allow airlines to open new, nonstop routes preferred by the traveling public. As a result of its many innovative technologies, the airplane offers unparalleled operating economics, fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
