The Navy has finished its investigation into what caused one of its jets to crash into an apartment complex in Virginia Beach, Va.
The Navy plans to release the results of its investigation at a news conference July 2. A redacted version of the investigation will be posted on a Navy website following the news conference.
The F/A-18D Hornet crashed April 6 just after taking off from Naval Air Station Oceana. No one was killed, but the impact or fire from the crash destroyed dozens of apartments.
