SAIC Awarded contract by U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific

Science Applications International Corporation has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific to provide life-cycle command, control, communications, computers and intelligence services in support of the Network Integration Engineering Facility.

The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has one-year base period of performance with a value of approximately $21 million, and two one-year options bringing the potential contract value to approximately $61 million, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in San Diego, Calif.

SSC Pacific is the Navy’s premier research, development, test and evaluation laboratory for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. Under the contract, SAIC will provide life-cycle C4I services, including: packaging, integration, environmental qualification design and testing, deployment, and electronic and computer systems used by the Department of Defense and other agencies.

“We look forward to our continued support of SSC Pacific and the NIEF, providing design and testing, deployment, and life cycle services for critical C4I systems that help ensure information dominance in the fleet,” said Thomas Watson, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
