RaeS hosts Royal Air Force chief of the Air Staff

Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton, GCB ADC LLD BSc FRAeS CCMI RAF – Chief of the Royal Air Force’s Air Staff – will address the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Washington, D.C., Branch Oct. 2 at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Dalton joined the RAF in 1976 and has been Chief of the Air Staff since July 2009. Prior RAF assignments include: Capability Manager for Information Superiority, with defense-wide responsibility for reconnaissance and communications capability requirements; Director General of the Eurofighter Typhoon program within the United Kingdom.

Dalton’s lecture will be hosted by the British Embassy, 3100 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20008. A reception preceding his lecture will begin at 6 p.m.; his lecture will start at 7 p.m. Prior registration is required to attend this event.

This event is Free for RAeS Washington, D.C., branch members. Full-time students may attend this event for just $10 (be prepared to show a valid student ID). All others may attend this event for $15, or for $40 they may join the RAeS Washington, D.C., branch for one year, during which they can attend all meetings/receptions for free.
