Boeing names senior defense executive in Colorado

Boeing has named retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Anthony (Tony) Przybyslawski executive director of Marketing for Air Force Network, Space and Strategic Systems, demonstrating the company’s commitment to effectively engaging with customers.

A 1976 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Przybyslawski will also serve as Boeing’s executive focal for that school.

“When we fill a critical position like this, we look for someone who knows our customer from the combat unit up through headquarters,” said Cindy Malawy, Boeing vice president of Marketing. “Tony’s deep customer experience gives him a valuable perspective on their requirements, which will help ensure that we provide the capabilities our customers need in current and future products and services.”

Przybyslawski served more than 34 years in the Air Force. His final assignment was special assistant to the commander at Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. A former wing commander of two bases, Przybyslawski is a pilot with more than 3,700 flying hours.

Prior to joining Boeing, Przybyslawski was an aerospace industry consultant.

“I’m honored to represent Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Colorado,” Przybyslawski said. “Boeing’s reputation and its support of the warfighter are second-to-none and I’ll do everything I can to engage our customers and the community in the important work we do every day.”

Przybyslawski received Master of Science degrees from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the University of Southern California. His leadership development programs included the Program for Senior Managers in Government at Harvard University and the Senior Executive Program at Columbia University.
