Derco Aerospace awarded exclusive distribution agreement by Eaton

Derco Aerospace, Inc., a Sikorsky Aerospace Services company, announced Nov. 27 the signing of a three-year agreement to exclusively distribute Eaton’s complete line of C-130 and F-16 products in select international markets. SAS is the aftermarket business of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp.

“We are proud to have been selected for this exclusive distributorship. The new alliance will benefit international operators by providing superior service and responsive delivery of Eaton products,” said Brian Holt, president of Derco Aerospace, Inc. “By leveraging Derco’s customer relationships and opening new market opportunities, the agreement will enhance growth potential for both our companies.”

A worldwide provider of aftermarket support services to international military operators and MRO facilities, Derco will exclusively distribute spares manufactured by Eaton to select international markets. Additionally, Derco and Eaton will continue to jointly offer repair and overhaul services for Eaton products.

“Extending Eaton’s relationship with Derco through this venture will bring enhanced support to the international C-130 and F-16 communities,” said Einar Johnson, vice president of Sales for Eaton’s Aerospace Group. “This is also an opportunity for Eaton and Derco to expand our global presence as key suppliers of products and services for the military aftermarket.”
