Aviation Partners Boeing appoints Patrick LaMoria executive VP, CCO

Following 11 years of various roles, including business development and product marketing with Boeing, Patrick LaMoria joined Aviation Partners Boeing in 2001 as director of sales and marketing for Europe. LaMoria quickly became an integral part of the APB team and was promoted to vice president of sales & marketing in 2004. Now, expanding his role as a key member of the APB leadership team, LaMoria will add responsibility for winglet system manufacturing, supplier management, logistics, customer support, and procurement to his ongoing responsibility for worldwide sales & marketing.

“Appointing Patrick to the position of executive vice president and chief commercial officer is a key strategic move for APB,” says Aviation Partners Boeing CEO William Ashworth. “With over 6,000 Blended Winglet Systems sold to-date and the recent launch of our new Split Scimitar Winglet program, it is imperative that we continue our exemplary customer service performance. Nearly 5,000 Blended Winglet Systems are now in service with over 200 airlines in more than 100 countries. APB estimates that Blended Winglets have saved airlines worldwide more than 3.5 billion gallons of jet fuel to-date.
