Gerry Fasano to lead Lockheed Martin IS&GS Strategy, business development

Gerry Fasano has been appointed vice president of Strategy and Business Development for Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems and Global Solutions business.

In addition, he will remain the General Manager for the Valley Forge, Penn., operations, where he will continue his close work and commitment to the Greater Philadelphia area community.

Fasano will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy, overseeing plans for business growth, and sustaining and strengthening customer relationships.† He will lead a strategy and business development team with three product lines and 28,000 employees for a company recognized as the IT leader for the Federal Government for 19 years in a row.

Fasano, formerly the IS&GS-Defense product line Vice President and General Manager, brings 29 years of experience to the role, developing teams and building strong partnerships with customers. Fasano succeeds Paul Lemmo, who was recently announced as senior vice president of Corporate Strategy and Business Development.

“Gerry’s broad understanding of the market space will be key to our success in refining and executing the business strategy,” said Sondra Barbour, executive vice president, Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions. “His experience across IS&GS will prove invaluable for creating collaboration and growth.”
