Northrop Grumman recognizes top suppliers

Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems sector presented Supplier Excellence Awards to 24 suppliers Dec. 5 as part of its annual Supplier Recognition Program.

The Supplier Recognition Program recognizes and incentivizes suppliers to continuously provide outstanding support to the company and the sector. Each company, selected from more than 5,000 Information Systems sector suppliers, was evaluated on five categories: schedule, management, technical, financial and quality.

“We appreciate and value the partnerships we have with these top suppliers. They each play a critical role in delivering affordable, innovative and quality products and services to our customers,” said Kathy Warden, corporate vice president and president Northrop Grumman Information Systems. “We are taking this opportunity to thank them for the outstanding work they provide Northrop Grumman.”

“The Information Systems sector congratulates each of these companies on receiving this year’s Supplier Excellence Award,” said Cynthia Hyland, sector vice president, supply chain. “This is a highly competitive award and we are pleased to honor each of them for their excellent support to our programs and our customers’ missions.”

Awards were presented in four categories: development, production, services and socio-economic. Of the suppliers recognized, 15 were small businesses, six of which were owned by women, and four are veteran-owned .
