2014 AFA symposium begins

German Air AttachÈ and Assistant Defense AttachÈ Col. The Growing Partnerships panel kicked off this years Air Force Association Air Warfare Symposium and Technology Exposition, Feb. 20 in Orlando, Fla.

The panel consisted of Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs Heidi Grant; German Air AttachÈ and Assistant Defense AttachÈ Col. Bernhard Altensberger; Royal Netherlands air force Air and Assistant Defense AttachÈ Col. Anton ven Drijver; New Zealand Defense AttachÈ Air Vice Marshall Graham Lintott; United Kingdom Air Attach Air Commodore Kenneth McCann and Air Force Assistant Vice Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Stephen Hoog.

The two-day symposium is scheduled to include speeches from the Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James, Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James A. Cody and other top Air Force leaders.
