Living history event

Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, Calif., presents its monthly Living History Event 10 a.m.-noon, April 5. Museum doors open at 9 a.m.

The topic for the†event is Pioneering Aircraft’ featuring the Northrop N9MB Flying Wing.

A speaker panel of distinguished aviation experts, historians and veterans is featured, followed by a question and answer period and flight demonstration when possible. The†N9MB will be on display and perform a flight demonstration.

The museum is open every day of the year, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and occasional special events. Check out the Aircraft Flight Schedule before your visit. Normal hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday-Friday, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday.

General admission is $11, children 12 and under are $4, and children under 5 are free. Seniors age 65 plus and veterans are $10.
Admission is free to active duty military, police and firefighters.

Planes of Fame Air Museum is located at 7000 Merrill Ave., # 17, Chino, Calif.

The mission of Planes of Fame Air Museum to preserve aviation history, inspire interest in aviation, educate the public, and honor aviation pioneers and veterans. The museum sponsors regular events in the form of inspirational experiences, educational presentations, flight demonstrations, and air shows in fulfillment of this mission.
