HT-Villanueva
Air Force Amn. Phoenix Villanueva graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Villanueva is the daughter of Nicole and Jeff Kern of Acton.

She is a 2012 graduate of Golden Valley High School, Santa Clarita.

 

Army Pvt. Beverly Y. Zuniga has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Zuniga is the daughter of Sabina Andrade of Lancaster.

 
HT-Burke
Air Force Reserve Amn. Keegan T. Burke graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Burke earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Timothy and Kelli Burke of Lancaster.

The airman is a 2011 graduate of Lancaster Baptist High School.

 
HT-Mascolo
Air Force Amn. Mario L. Mascolo graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Mascolo is the son of Mario and Martha Mascolo of Palmdale.

He is a 2013 graduate of Highland High School, Palmdale.

 
HT-Enriquez
Air Force Amn. Raul Enriquez graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Enriquez is the son of Raul and Rosa Enriquez of Lancaster.

He is a 2012 graduate of East Side High School, Lancaster.

Air Force Amn. Tanner M. Aurand graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Aurand is the son of Nancy Dowell of Palmdale and Darren Aurand of Simi Valley.

He is a 2013 graduate of Santa Susana High School, Simi Valley.
