To honor Armed Forces Day, May 17, and celebrate America’s past and present troops, all 624 U.S. Sam’s Club locations will offer free shopping passes to military personnel, veterans, retirees and their families so they can save on home and business essentials.
To receive the temporary one-day pass, guests should show military ID or proof of past/present service at Sam’s Club Member Service counters.
Established by President Harry S. Truman in 1949 following the unification of all military branches into the Department of Defense, Armed Forces Day combined separate days honoring military branches into one single-day celebration. It’s a day to pay special tribute to the men and women of the armed forces.
Sam’s Club is offering the temporary one-day passes to come together with the communities we serve and thank our military members for their patriotic service in support of our country.
