Every year the Middle School Teen Center selects one Youth of the Year that has stood out to be actively involved in the community, Child, Youth & School Service’s programs, and extracurricular activities. MST is a Boys and Girls Club affiliate and takes part in this with the Boys and Girls Club annually.

We are proud to announce that Mariah Culbertson is our Youth of the Year. She applied through the Boys and Girls Club to be given this award and scholarship opportunities by sending in her transcripts, essays, and staff recommendations. We recognized her for being involved in CYSS programs, actively involved in our community, receiving good grades at school, and participating in extracurricular activities at Silver Valley High School. Congratulations Mariah!
