Soldiers from the Warrior Transition Unit make clay pots at the Fort Irwin Arts and Crafts Center. The center offers ceramics and pottery making classes and facilities for anyone in the community. Bicycles are available for rent at Outdoor Recreation, located in Bldg. 4100 on Goldstone Road. For more information, call 380-4327 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Outdoor Recreation is closed Monday and Tuesday.
Shooters use the skeet and trap range on Goldstone Road at Fort Irwin. Operated by Outdoor Recreation, the range is available for use by the community.
