Community garden club seeks members
There will be a meeting of the Fort Irwin community garden club tomorrow at 5 p.m. at the Coyote Activity Pavilion next to the skate park. All are welcome. No gardening experience is necessary. New members have the opportunity to shape the direction of this new club and to garden a plot located near the blue track on Inner Loop Road. For more information, call Suzanne Wiese at 760-470-9565 or email Suzanne.m.wiese@gmail.com.Â
Lt. Dan Band visit cancelled
Gary Sinise was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic accident resulting in injuries that have required him to cancel appearances in his upcoming scheduled USO concerts on April 13, 14, and 21 at Twentynine Palms, Fort Irwin and Camp Lejeune. We hope to reschedule these concerts at a later date.
EFMP support group meetingÂ
There will be a meeting of the Exceptional Family Member Program support group Wednesday at 10 a.m. at The Forum, Bldg. 1200. Parents of exceptional children can meet others in similar situations, network in the community and get information on resources available. For more information, call 380-3698.
