“Frag Out”

Dragon Team Red conducts platoon training

Cavalry scout Soldiers of the Dragon Live Fire training team tackled the grenade assault course and re-acquainted themselves with medium and heavy machine guns from May 22-24, 2012, on the road to conducting a platoon live fire exercise. When out of rotation, these Soldiers form Red Platoon focus on cavalry scout operations and support tasks for NTC Live Fire Training. Weapons qualification is the first step on the path to section live fire exercises planned for the summer that will provide NTC with a demonstration team capable of assaulting a trench line while developing upon the scout task of engaging an inferior force.
