Inside a packed ballroom, seven Soldiers retired from the United States Army at Fort Irwin and the National Training Center during a ceremony, May 29. The guest speaker was Brig. Gen. Terry Ferrell, commander of the NTC and Fort Irwin. Ferrell spoke about the significance of the service of the retirees and mentioned that amongst the group, they had about 150 years of combined experience. The NTC and Fort Irwin hosts a retirement ceremony almost once a month.
