Reggie’s closes

Reggie’s Beverage Company will close indefinitely beginning June 18 for an extensive brand overhaul.  The new brand will provide a casual dining atmosphere with great menu items and impeccable service.  It will replace Reggie’s, which opened on Fort Irwin in the late 90s.  The new service will be more than just a place to eat, it will be a destination to enjoy a tastefully simple menu of grilled American fare paired with your favorite full-flavored crafted brews.  The project’s completion is estimated to take four months, a relatively short time, while making a continuous effort toward an “installation of choice.”  For updates on the project, visit the National Training Center/Fort Irwin Facebook page, or the Fort Irwin FMWR Facebook page.

Get a refund for gasoline taxes

The California gasoline tax refund could save you hundreds of dollars every year. In order to maintain California’s many highways, the state taxes every gallon of fuel that you put into your car (even gas purchased on post). This is reasonable, because we all know what it is like to drive on poorly maintained roads,...
