Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School will take place at Fort Irwin’s Center Chapel from 9 a.m. to noon next week starting Monday. For more information, call 380-6310 or email fortirwinvbs@hotmail.com. To register, visit www.irwin.army.mil and click on the link to Vacation Bible School in the slideshow.

 

British soccer camp

British soccer camp will return to Fort Irwin next week starting Monday. Children ages 3-18 can work with soccer coaches from England. The camp will be held Monday through Friday at the Youth Sports and Fitness soccer field on Normandy Road. For details or to register, call 380-7044.

 

Fort Irwin N.O.W

Fort Irwin’s N.O.W., or newcomer’s orientation welcome, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Sandy Basin Community Center. This event is an opportunity for those new to post to learn about services and resources available around the area. An optional bus tour of the installation will take place following the N.O.W. event. Free child care and lunch will be provided. For more information or to register, call 380-2257.

 

The NTC has a TV station!

Did you know that the NTC and Fort Irwin have their very own television station? You can tune in to channel 29 on Verizon-served TVs or channel 18 on MDU-served TVs to watch original programming all about the National Training Center and Fort Irwin. NTC-TV is also seeking volunteers interested in all aspects of video production. No experience is necessary. For more information, call Ken Drylie at 380-2452 or email Kenneth.drylie@us.army.mil.
