916th assumption of command

There will be an assumption of command ceremony for incoming 916th Support Brigade commander Col. James Kazmierczak at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Sandy Basin Community Center. All are welcome.

 

Fort Irwin Resource Expo

The Fort Irwin Resource Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Sandy Basin Community Center. This annual event will provide information about everything Fort Irwin and the surrounding communities have to offer. Representatives from a variety of organizations, offices and agencies will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. There will also be activities for children. Funded Legal Education Program

The JAG Office is accepting applications for the Army’s Funded Legal Education Program (FLEP), in which up to 25 active-duty commissioned officers in ranks of second lieutenant through captain can attend law school at government expense beginning fall 2013. Interested officers should review Chapter 14, AR 27-1, to determine their eligibility. Applicants must have two, but not more than six, years of active Federal service at the time legal training begins. Eligible officers interested in applying should immediately register for the earliest offering of the Law School Admission Test.
