American Red Cross Youth Group assist Barstow Veterans with fund raiser

The American Red Cross Youth Group conducted a bake sale fund raiser in the Landmark Inn, here, Sept. 8. Funds raised went to a project called Adopt-A-Vet, which helps the California State Veterans Home in Barstow. The amount of money raised was $120. Congratulations to the Youth Group for raising all that money! Keep up the good work! Red Cross Station volunteers that were part of the effort included: Nadine Rosa, Youth Chair; Megan Israel, Publicity Coordinator; Kristina Tharpe, Casework Chair; Heather Ward, ARC Liaison; Amber Mooney, Youth Coordinator; Edith Esparza, Station Chair, and; Alvieia Comstock, Youth Coordinator. Participating youth included: Alexia Rosa, Allie Ward, James and Jade Mooney and Isac Esparza.
