11ACR’s FIRST SOLDIER OF THE QUARTER, FISCAL YEAR 2013: Spc. Jerome Middleton

The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment recently conducted selection boards for Soldier and Non-Commissioned Officer of the Quarter for the first quarter of fiscal year 2013. Two servicemembers came out on top from a field of qualified candidates.

11ACR’s FIRST NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER OF THE QUARTER, FISCAL YEAR 2013: Sgt. John Haynesworth

Specialist Jerome Middleton, a combat engineer assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2nd Squadron, 11ACR, was selected as the regiment’s first Soldier of the Quarter for Fiscal Year 2013. Way to go Spc. Middleton!

Sergeant John Haynesworth, an indirect fire infantryman with HHT, 1st Squadron, 11ACR, was selected as the first Non-Commissioned Officer of the Quarter for Fiscal Year 2013. Haynesworth also faced a field of great Soldiers in competition at the selection board for the honorary position, and based on his performance in the line of duty and professional military knowledge was selected as the NCO of the Quarter. Congratulations Sgt. Haynesworth!
