Super Duper event and spooky fun

The Fort Irwin Commissary held a Super Duper Pumpkin Painting event, Oct. 27. The first 200 children received a free pumpkin with a bag full of decorative pieces, ears, eyes, hair, etc. They painted and decorated their pumpkin to make it special, just the way they like it. They also got a goodie bag full of good-for-you treats.

The items provided were donated by General Mills, Kraft, Advantage and Coast Produce.

A “big thank you” to all supporters for helping us make this happen!

The Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation put on a great 2012 Haunted House event, which the Fort Irwin community thoroughly enjoyed. A big thank you to all who participated in building the spooked-out structure and to our sponsors: Spirit Halloween, Martinsburg Institute and Allied American University.
