Los Angeles Dodgers honor Soldiers with event on their field

The Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team honored several Soldiers during an event on their field, Monday. Soldiers from the National Training Center and Fort Irwin took batting practice and got to meet Dodger veteran Don Newcombe and the new public relations face of the team, Earvin “Magic” Johnson. Soldiers in attendance included Sgt. Brandon Smith, with Staff Judge Advocate, and Sgt. Joseph Elian, the Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter for the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.
