Operations Group and 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment conducts room assault during cross training
Soldiers from Dragon Team and Tarantula Team of Operations Group conducted training in conjunction with Troopers from 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. The cross training took place Nov. 29 – 30 in the live-fire area of the National Training Center.
Soldiers operated in teams to assault multiple rooms while using fragmentation grenades and shooting live-rounds from their M-4 rifles. Tarantula Team’s Command Sgt. Maj. Mario Terenas and Phoenix Team’s Staff Sgt. Christopher Leach were on hand to oversee the live-fire training event.
