SKIES Unlimited is an acronym for “School of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration, and Skills” with the word “Unlimited” representing the unlimited possibilities this program can offer Army children and youth. SKIES Unlimited encompasses instructional programs for children and youth ranging from six weeks old to adolescence. Sign up your child for Reading and Math tutoring, Piano and Vocal lessons, Karate or Dance. Call 380-7751 for schedules and pricing.

Jan. 15

“Spring Kickoff” for Protestant Women of the Chapel. 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Center Chapel. Food and childcare provide. For more information go to cebook.com/pwocfortirwin.

Jan. 16

Now through Jan. 16 register for a trip to “Let’s Make a Deal.” Outdoor Recreation. Transportation cost is $15. Must be 18 years of age and wear a costume. 380-4327..

Jan. 26

Now through Jan. 26 sign up for a Deep Sea Fishing trip. Outdoor Recreation. Transportation cost is $25 for adults and $18 for children up to the age of 13. Fishing cost is $50 and includes boat ticket, fishing pole, tackle, and a one-day license. 380-4327.

Jan. 31

Now through Jan. 31 sign up for transportation with Outdoor Recreation to go skiing on Feb. 7 to Big Bear. Transportation will be $20 for adults and $13 for children (up to 13 years). Lift tickets for active duty military will be $38 at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. 380-4327.

Feb. 2

Pet Shot Clinic. 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Fort Irwin Veterinary Treatment Facility. Pets must be leashed or crated. Rabies: $10; DA2PP, $15; Bordetella, $18; Rabies, $10; FVRCP, $15; FELV, $18. Cash only. Call 380-3025.
