Military & Civilian Spouses’ Club to host ‘Tis the Season’ luncheon

Looking for a fun way to kick-off the holiday season? Join the Military and Civilian Spouses’ Club for our ‘Tis the Season’ Luncheon Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. at the Sandy Basin Community Center.

We have fun games and contests planned to keep you entertained. Wear your tackiest sweater and festive garb and compete in our Ugly Holiday Attire Contest. You can also bring an unwrapped gift to play the White Elephant Game. The gift should be holiday-themed, unwrapped and valued at no more than $15. Participation in these activities is optional.

During this luncheon, we will be collecting donations for the ACS Fort Irwin Holiday Food Basket Program. For every $10 you donate, you will receive five opportunity tickets to win a prize.

The price for lunch is $13. Please register for the luncheon no later than 5 p.m., Nov. 17, on our Web site at mcscftirwin.org.

If you’re not yet a member of MCSC, you’re invited to join via our Web site, mcscftirwin.org. Current MCSC members may pay for and bring a non-member to a luncheon one time as a guest. Please RSVP accordingly on our Web site.

The Military and Civilian Spouses’ Club is dedicated to assisting various non-profit organizations and government entities through financial support for special projects and events. These funds benefit military servicemembers, their families, and DoD civilians who reside in the Fort Irwin area.

The Thrift Store, special events, and fundraising activities by the MCSC generate these funds. Any non-profit organization or government entity serving the Fort Irwin community may request assistance from the MCSC.
