SUPPORTIVE LEADER: Ethan Mellinger, a 6th grader with the distinction of being September’s student of the month, works hard in class. He helps others and he helps around the classroom. He is respectful and responsible. He goes above and beyond what is expected of him. He is willing to help others with content. He is a leader and helps other students, who are having trouble. Ethan is ‘BEING R.E.A.L!’

TOP OF THE CLASS: Avery Schimpf, 8th grader and student of the month for November, is an exemplar to Fort Irwin students. Avery manages to maintain a 4.0 grade point average while doing extracurricular activities. She is always attentive and focused in the classroom and models being R.E.A.L. on a daily basis. She is a creative thinker and is always looking for ways to excel. Avery is ‘BEING R.E.A.L!’
